More Fantastic Fireworks From The Pro Football Hall Of Fame City of Canton!

By now you all know what a nut I am for fireworks. These are among THE BEST out there, provided by "the First Family of Fireworks", Zambelli. Tonight's concert & fireworks were the kick-off event for the week long festivities celebrating Pro Football Hall of Fame’s Class of 2011: Richard Dent, Marshall Faulk, Ed Sabol, Deion Sanders, Shannon Sharpe, Chris Hanburger and Les Richter.

This time I decided to treat you all to a video. It's a little long, but fast moving & fabulous!
If anyone knows how to rotate the video, please let me know, as I can only get it sideways :(

ENJOY! Wish you all were here!

Crabs Anyone???

I couldn't pass up sharing this email I got from my dad. (I wish I could give credit to the originator, but didn't see any info on that). I'm sure he knew I'd be thrilled, due to my previous life coordinating many weddings as a Hotel Sales & catering Manager.
This photo was taken at a wedding in Louisiana.

You're probably thinking this is a shot of a casual seaside dinner display...
It's A Wedding Cake!
The crabs, corn, and even the container of Old Bay Seasoning are made of white chocolate.
The  sand is crushed graham crackers and vanilla wafers.
The  mallets are fondant, a confection used for decorating.
The entire $700 cake is edible!  Crab Cake is not always what you think!

I have one word....WOW!

Happy 4th of July!

Hi, my name is Robin & I am a "Fireworkaholic"...

I LOVE fireworks & will travel far & wide to see them, just because they make me happy! Luckily, my hubby is very good natured about this & realizes this is cheap entertainment for me. Our first viewing of the season was Wednesday night, "Zing in the City" which also featured a performance by the Canton Symphony Orchestra.

Saturday night we went to "Olde Canal Days" in Canal Fulton, which has a fair type atmosphere with rides, games, vendors, beauty pageant, & two stages of entertainment. This night contained all my favorite elements...Blue Moon flavored ice cream, the purchase of a Hot Fudge soy candle that smells so good you want to grab a spoon & dig in, a quadruple baby stroller full of dogs (yes, you read that right) & of course the fireworks!

Tonight we'll top off the holiday weekend in Massillon, but we're skipping the festivities & just focusing on the fireworks.
